Thriving Summer Vegetable Gardens

July 9 @ 10:00 am 11:00 am

In Person Porter Hall

$30 Non-Member / $24 Member

Vegetable gardens can thrive year-round in Tucson, but it might not feel that way if your garden is suffering during the summer heat. In this class, desert gardening expert Michael lsmail will share with you the strategies he uses to get great results, even through the heat of summer.

Instructor

Michael Ismail

Michael grew up on a homestead in the desert and has been helping people grow food in their backyards in Tucson for the past 11 years. He creates resource guides, videos, and classes to help simplify and demystify gardening in our climate. He also builds raised garden beds, plant protection enclosures and covers, as well as irrigation products, all designed to make abundant gardening more achievable in the Sonoran Desert climate.
